King Taco

King Taco will sponsor the 14 races at the Irwindale track this year. A $10,000 purse will be available for the year end results. There is a $25.00 one time registration fee with King Taco.

Rear End Gears

You have several options when selecting the rear end gear ratio for your Legend. Rebuilt Toyota rear end gears are available in 3.30, 3.42, 3.58, 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10 to-one ratios. Also available are new Richmond gear sets in the same ratios as Toyota, along with a 2.50 ratio for road racing.

Keep in mind that the Yamaha XJR1200 engine in your Legend puts out its maximum horsepower between 9250 rpm and 9500 rpm, so gear your car to run in this range. When you are in doubt about which gear to put in your car, select a higher transmission gear or lower rear-end gear to alleviate the stress placed on the transmission and reduce heat in the engine. Your car's factory-installed gear ratio is written on the fuel cell.
